My mileage was a bit lower than I had hoped for, I guess that just happens sometimes. Over the weekend we went to New Jersey to see my family and with such a short visit, I felt like a jerk if I spent even 30 minutes of my time running. I decided to sit it out and socialize instead.
This week I will face the challenge of getting Kai to daycare in the mornings and completing a morning run. I think I can do it all, but I will admit that I am relieved not to have an 8am meeting today, less pressure to be punctual on the first day of my new morning routine. Most days this week I have a bit of extra flexibility and I’m pretty sure that I will need it.
In case you were wondering about my phone (Duh. Who wouldn’t be?): Last night I was able to retrieve all of the pictures from it, but the screen is very dim. It is turned off again and repacked in silica gel for a few more days, but I think it is going to be a goner. Super bummer. Chris is going to give me a pretty hard time about buying a second iPhone in less than one year. I don’t blame him, I would do the same. Ugh.
